Vela Middle School Symphony Orchestra had an incredible opportunity to perform at the Texas A&M University-Kingsville School of Music! Under the direction of our amazing director, Mr. L. Hernandez, our students showcased their hard work and dedication while also experiencing what it’s like to perform in a collegiate setting. A special thank you to Dr. Colleen Ferguson, Assistant Professor of Strings, for working with our students and sharing her expertise. We were proud to partner with the Harlingen Police Department and Srgt. Brooks, the Harlingen CISD Technology Department, the Harlingen CISD FACE Department, and Gutierrez Middle School to promote safe online practices and responsible gaming. 🎮 🌐 Key Highlights: - Srgt.
