    The Med Ed Program is designed for high school and college students who have a serious interest in the health sciences. The purpose of the program is to increase the number of South Texas students in the pipeline for careers in Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Biomedical Research. Students with an interest in learning about other health science careers such as Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Optometry, Psychology, etc. are also strongly encouraged to join the Med Ed Program.
